Getting the computer Name



The following are the steps of getting a computer name:
  1. On the Windows Desktop or from the pop up menu of the start button, right-click on "My Computer" and select "Properties"
  2. In the System Properties window, select the "Computer Name" tab
  3. Take note of the full computer name.You can copy the computer name from the system properties window by clicking on "Change settings".
    In the example given below, the computer name is "Bernard-PC".
